Throughout the Printmaking the student is getting in touch with the opposite way of artistic thought of painting. We leave apart the additive presence of the colour as a material. Here we take out material and then we print the trace that was derived from the wound. We are taking parallel but opposite directions of those of Painting. This kind of research is leading the student to the achievement of his own personal style.
The knowledge of the wood-Printmaking form as well as the intaglio techniques form are pursued through their technical procedures in class, practicing on certain exercises for their consolidation and aiming at the detection of self-personal morphoplastic elements of every student.
